Firefox 3 Troubles
July 5, 2008 at 8:58 pm | In Browsers, Firefox |Firefox 3 has been giving me a ton of problems, half the time I use Gmail, Firefox just closes. I lose all of my tabs, windows everything. This has also been happening in Glide Free Webmail (I am currently testing this for a new article) and it is a very annoying bug. I have reported this in Mozilla Crash Reporter seven times at the time I am writing this and I am waiting like crazy for Firefox 3.0.1. Has anyone else been having problems like this? If so I would like to hear about them.
On a lighter note, Firefox 3 set the Guinness World Record of Most Software Downloads in 24 hours at 8,002,530 downloads! Go Firefox!

I have been using Firefox 3 on an iMac since last week. It generally works well with the Glide OS and other websites but there are a few quirks. Can I run both Firefox 3 and the previous version of Firefox on my iMac or should I just wait for the update? Thanks

This guys found some solutions for the most common problems in Firefox 3, like the issue with the complete version of the Hotmail, etc
